Fact or Fiction: Will Robert Pattinson Get Kristen Stewart a Surprise Ring for Her Birthday?!

Will Robert Pattinson pop the question on Friday April 9, 2010. Insiders of Twilight say, yes. Of course, Robert Pattinson was supposed to pop the marriage question on Easter Sunday, but no news came out of that Easter basket.


Now, with Robert Pattinson in Hungry, one has to wonder how Robert Pattinson would ask the question of marriage? Will he text the question? He could do a video conference call. Or Robert Pattinson could just hop a plane, he has the money, and surprise Kristen Stewart with the ring she wore in the movie "Eclipse" which is due to come out, June 6.

Twilight fans await the big day whenever it comes, but with much anticipation, we wait to see when and if Robert Pattinson will ask the sweet Kristen Stewart for her hand in marriage.

We know they've been house hunting, texting, and meeting. Robert Pattinson has announced his love for Kristen Stewart, but Kristen Stewart does not like the media attention and has been rather closed mouthed about their relationship.

Jackson Rathbone Jammed With Kristen Stewart!

Jackson Rathbone, who plays Jasper in the “Twilight” movie series – and also fronts touring rock band 100 Monkeys — says that he and series star Kristen Stewart have played guitar together on the set.

Rathbone will bring 100 Monkeys to Allentown’s Crocodile Rock Café on April 15. The “Twilight” series continues June 30, with the release of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” which is the third movie in the wildly popular romance series about teen-aged vampires based on the books by Stephanie Meyers.

Stewart also plays rocker Joan Jett in the movie “The Runaways,” which opens in area theaters Friday and tells the story of Jett’s 1970s all-girl prototype punk band. She has gotten strong reviews for her portrayal, which included playing guitar on and singing The Runaways songs for the movie.

But in spite of reports that Stewart learned to play the guitar for the movie, Rathbone – speaking in a recent telephone conversation while on the road with 100 Monkeys – says he and Stewart played together while on the set of the original “Twilight” film back in early 2008.“And I don’t think she learned how to play guitar for that movie,” Rathbone says. “I think she’d known how to play guitar for a while now. I just think she learned how to play for Joan Jett for that movie.”

Learning to play like Jett included learning how to play guitar left-handed.

In addition to 100 Monkeys’ 100-date tour this summer and the opening of “Eclipse,” Rathbone will be busy with the July 2 opening of the expected blockbuster movie “The Last Airbender,” a live-action adventure-fantasy film based on of the animated television series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”

Rathbone says he doesn’t doubt he and Stewart will play together again – there are rumored to be two more movies in the “Twilight” series.

But Stewart has said she doesn’t expect to launch a music career, as Rathbone has.

“We’re not packaging this deal,” she said in a recent interview

26th February, Oxford Circus, London.The day before this I was sitting happily at home in my Robsten BAFTA afterglow, when I recieved a phone call from my darling cousin in London telling me she seen Rob and Kristen at a pub the night before. Maybe I screamed down the phone for a good 5 minutes but who wouldn't. I then came onto Twitter and saw multiple news sources that they were indeed at this pub, CUDDLING, KISSING AND SHARING CIGGIES. *dies quietly*

Maybe this was my main reason, but I talked my Mum into letting me go see my cousin claiming I 'missed her and the family' and 'hadn't seen them in such a long time' Yeah right I just wanted to breath Robsten air. :) (My cousin also lives in the same area as Rob, Barnes is the place to be ;D She knows his sisters, she's a lucky girl I know!)

So I went off on my jollies from Liverpool to Barnes via plane on the day of the Alice in Wonderland premiere. I wanted to go but arrived too late. :( Sad times, so I just spent the evening being excited within Mr Pattinson's hometown. :) (Because I'm that sad)

I literally, forced my cousin to go on a pubcrawl in the night. I then forced her to go to the pub she saw Robsten at. (The weridness does not stop there) So we go to this pub and I demand my cousin tell me where Kristen sat so I could sit in the exact same place (I told you I was weird). It excited me to no end.

After I got over myself (which was like a million hours later), we continued our pub crawl. We go past this place called the Macbeth and my cousin is like, 'wanna go there?'. It looked really boring and just like a little family pub so I rejected and we continued our pubcrawl.

I then wake up the next morning to find out... ROBSTEN WHERE AT THE MACBETH THAT NIGHT! AND I REJECTED GOING IN THERE. I've never been so devastated in my whole entire life. :( Missing out on Rob is one thing but Kristen too? That's just heartbreaking.

After moping about all morning my cousin dragged me into town (Oxford Circus I'm guessing is the town centre, right?) to go shopping. Now because my cousin ALWAYS and I mean always sees Rob whilst he's at London, I started forcing her to have a picture at the ready in her bag to get signed for me (my weirdness just doesn't end, I'm sorry). You'll understand why this is important later. :)

I like this story, it's long but I feel all interesting. If you're still reading, I LIKE YOU. :D

So yeah, we went shopping and I bought lots of little New Moon goodies, god bless London, we have nothing in Liverpool. Literally nothing. We're losers like that. :) We end up in this little shop next to Selfridges, it sold utter rubbish, but I like rubbish. I spend a lot of money on rubbish. I talk rubbish *continues with story* So I'm looking at some little goodies and my cousin elbows me in the side whispering 'Jeanette turn round, quick, look, look, look now' Me, not having a clue what she's talking about, is too scared to turn around thinking I'm going to get attacked or something. My cousin has to literally pull me to face the other direction. I turn and guess who is standing less than a few meters away from me? ROBERT PATTINSON. :D

Oh and Tom Sturridge too! But Rob was there, infront of me. So TomStu was forgotten. :')

So whilst I was in let's stare at Rob land my cousin is shouting at me for not listening, she then is like 'go up to him' which I thought was the stupidest idea ever and refused. (I was scared okay!) So she just walked over to him (must be nice knowing him! Pfft!) While I'm left standing there like a fool.

She goes over to him and starts speaking to him like they are best friends. (NOT AT ALL JEALOUS) then asks him if he would sign the picture (the one I mentioned before) for me. She points at me whilst I'm standing there catching flies (because I'm that dozy).

Rob then turns to look at me and says 'Come over here, I don't bite' then looks down at the picture in his hand (of Edward) and laughs that lovely tinkling laugh. *sigh*

I walked over slowly (I'm sorry I'm just a big loser, it's true *smiles*) and stood before him. He asked me if I had a pen to sign the picture and I literally died a little... I didn't have a pen.

I frantically looked around the shop and picked up a pack of Sharpie pens and tore the pack open. Bahahahaha. The shop man did not look happy at this, but who cares? Rob Pattinson needed a pen. ;D

I gave him the pen, he asked me my name and signed the picture to me. Whilst signing it he says 'I hope you're going to pay for this pen, I don't condone stealing' to which I replied 'no' :D He laughed handed me the picture, took the pack of pens off me and... wait for it... PAID FOR THE PENS.

Everytime I've said I've died within this encounter? I take it back, I died when he bought the pens. How many people can say Robert Pattinson paid for a pack of pens for them? (Whilst purchasing ciggies may I add) That's exactly what he did. He gave me the pens back after he paid. :D *squeals like a fangirl* He then said it was nice meeting us and started to walk out the shop.


I, after holding in a giant squeal for so long, let it out and squealed and jumped up and down like a strange fangirl (I just couldn't help myself). What I didn't realise was that he was still in the shop. He turned around after hearing an earshattering scream and fucking SMIRKED AT ME. He then waved at us and left the shop.


The end result of my story. :) Yeah the little kiss on the end made me more happy than it should.

Wow I talk waaaaaay too much. But yeah, that's my story. I like detail, if you can't tell. It was a good day. So I missed them at the pub *dies inside* I got to meet Rob again. (Kristen would have been better! ;D) But shhhh, don't tell the fangirls. I'm grateful for any encounters I have.


So yeah, fan encounter number 2. I should really just move to London and live in my cousin's house, although she doesn't condone stalking. Pfft, she doesn't know what she's missing.

Kellan Lutz Visits Jimmy Kimmel!

Kellan Lutz stops to sign autographs for fans on his way into the Jimmy Kimmel Live studios on Monday (April 5) in Los Angeles.



Last month, it was announced that the 25-year-old Twilight actor will star in War of Gods, a Greek myth fantasy movie that centers on the conflict between the Greek gods and the elder gods known as the Titans, whose king, Hyperion (Mickey Rourke), is on a murderous rampage across Greece. Stephen Dorff also recently signed onto the project.

Kellan will next be seen in the upcoming Nightmare on Elm Street revival.

New 'The Runaways' Interview!

Q&A – The Runaways’ Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning Talk Music, Tattoos, and (Yes) the Kiss!




The Runaways may not have been the very first all-girl rock-and-roll band — but they were one of the first that mattered. Comprised of teenagers Cherie Currie on vocals, Joan Jett on rhythm guitar, Lita Ford on lead guitar, Jackie Fox on bass, and Sandy West on drums — at least in the 1975-1978 incarnation — the band becomes Dakota Fanning, Kristen Stewart, Scout Taylor-Compton, Alia Shawkat, and Stella Maeve on the big screen. Fanning and Stewart talk about how they became rock stars, with a little help from their real-life counterparts.


Q: So, Dakota, Cherie Currie said there was a moment you felt like it was fate intervening for you to get this role?

DF: Yes! I had a cherry temporary tattoo that I had put on for fun that day, and I came home from school, and my mom was reading the script, and she said, “You need to read this.” I always try to get more information from her before I read anything, but she never tells me much — she doesn’t want to bias my opinion — so the only thing she would say is that the girl I would play had a tattoo just like that, so I was like, “Wow!” It was just a little thing where it’s a sign that it was meant to be.


Q: Did you get much help from Joan Jett and Cherie Currie to prep for the film?

DF: Cherie, the mike move she does during “Cherry Bomb”? She taught me that so I could do it, too.

KS: That was crazy. I had never seen that before. Yeah, they filled us in on little stuff that was probably random but gave us a sense of what it was like to live back then. It was good that they were around, we needed them to fill in the blanks, but we also saw the videos they’ve got of themselves when they were younger, so we got a lot from that.

DF: And they were in the studio with us. I was definitely nervous, but the only way to rerecord the songs would be if I had the voice to do it, so I was thrown in the studio and we recorded the songs, and that’s what you hear in the movie. I thought I’d be recording them a bunch of times, not just the first few times and that’s it. But that was probably good, because that’s how they recorded them. They were just thrown in and just did it a couple of times.

KS: Joan was helping me be better at guitar. She’s pretty good. She’s got a really unique connection to the music, the way it comes out of her. She was telling me — and this is the only way to describe it, and I’ve said it before, but it’s the only way that feels right — she says you have to fuck your guitar. I’m sorry, I don’t know how else to say it! [Laughs]

Q: How did spending time with them help you develop your roles?

DF: I think when you know a character well, you know what to do. Cherie, she was a completely different person onstage than she was off stage. And still to this day, she’s kept that vulnerability and innocence. And Cherie’s become my friend, so that makes you want to be the best you can at this for them.

KS: Joan has no regrets, I know she doesn’t, and that was huge to her. Everything in your life makes you who you are, and she’s really loving life right now. I’ve never seen anybody walk into a room that completely confident, and she doesn’t even realize that other people might not be like that, too. It’s not overcompensations. She’s not trying to be a certain way.


And to see them interact now, together, that was really helpful, too, because they turn into the people they were then, and they still really love each other. It’s hard to describe. It’s such a unique friendship and they relied on each other so strongly, and it’s like you add a kiss to something and suddenly it makes it like, “Oh. My. God. They love each other and they are lesbians!” They kissed one night, no big deal. They’re just really close.

Q: For some people, this might be their introduction to who the Runaways were and what they meant to rock and roll.

DF: I think probably for the younger audiences, and maybe that will lead them to go back and listen to the music or watch Live in Japan. I didn’t know who the Runaways were when I first read the script.

KS: Oh, man. If we didn’t tell this story right, since this is the version of the Runaways story that people my age would know about, that thought drove me crazy. When you care about something so much, it’s scary. Usually if the movie isn’t good or it doesn’t turn out the way you thought, that’s the way it goes. But this? We didn’t have any other options. The guilt I would have harbored for the rest of my life? It would turn my stomach. It would be horrible

Kristen Stewart has been busy promoting her new movie, "The Runaways." Neither have had much time for each other but they were able to sneak in a romantic Easter weekend.

Dakota Fanning Dishes on Kissing Kristen Stewart and Returning to Twilight: Eclipse!

Dakota Fanning has got it made. Imagine what it's like to be a respected, powerful actress in Hollywood at the tender age of 16! But Dakota is not a kid any more. She's growing up fast and has a lot to say about her new status.






She talked exclusively with Betty Confidential and had some very adult responses to some of the questions. For instance, what was it like to kiss Kristen Stewart in The Runaways?



"The whole thing has obviously been blown up so much. It’s not like a romance. The kissing is something that happens amongst friends. It’s not talked about later on. It’s dumb that our kissing is all over the news. I guess Dakota and Kristen kissing makes a good story, but people might be a little disappointed. We just kiss. That's it!"



And she reveals some info about her first recurring role as Jane in Twilight: Eclipse:



"I’m in the film a bit, and it’s the first time I ever came back to a movie set and cast. The rest of the Twilight cast has been together for years and I’m the new girl. But I do have the best powers. I get to police all the vampires, and I can kill them. You know what? It’s nice to be that powerful. And it’s also nice not to have to sing!"

Waiting for Forever is a story about two friends who reconnect years later. Up and coming actor Tom Sturridge plays Will Donner, a somewhat lost starving artist/magician who never got over his childhood crush on Emma Twist (Rachel Bilson), who abandons her fading career as an actress to move home to care for her sick father. Our own Dylan Westin caught up with Sturridge to talk to him a little about his newest role.



Tell us a little about working on Waiting for Forever.



I don’t want to say too much and give it away, but I really enjoyed making this film. It’s a kind of quiet, but I think there’s a lot going on underneath…yeah, it’s very layered.



How was working with Rachel Bilson?



Yeah, she was great. Very friendly and nice. Our characters interact a lot in the film so we spent a considerable amount of time together. I’m quite fond of her.



You’re friends with Twilight star Robert Pattinson. How long have you two known each other?



We went to school together, and then we lived together for a bit, so we’ve been friends and more for what feels like our whole lives.



Tom’s face suddenly stills and he hurriedly adds more:



I mean, we are friends. He’s my best friend, and that’s it. He’s like a brother to me, you know? We have the same group of friends, and I’m friends with all of them, not just him.



But our curiosity has already been piqued, and we press for more information.



Have you been more than friends with him?



(pause) I really don’t want to talk about him. It’s just weird, you know? I want to respect his privacy, since he doesn’t have much of it anymore. I mean, I’d do the same for any of my friends.



You worked with Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman in Pirate Radio. Were you intimidated or pressured by him?



Before we started, I was a little nervous, and it took me a bit to relax about it. But, no, everyone was so nice. We spent three months on an actual boat filming, so we all had some time to get to know each other. It was a really fun shoot. We improvised a lot, and then I would kind of forget that we were even filming.



What are your plans for the future?



(laughs) I never know! I don’t even have a home right now- I’m homeless!

Robert Pattinson gay and dead? April Fools Day joke angers Twilight fans!

Various sites are trying to kill off Robert Pattinson or make him gay as an April Fools Day joke. But Twilight fans don't find it funny! One report today had Robert Pattinson coming out of the closet early this morning. Another later report says TMZ confirmed Pattinson's suicide. Saying that the "New Moon" star killed himself after releasing the fake news that he was gay. The false reports even contained a fake quote by Kristen Stewart.



These are all just rumors by people trying to not only earn page views but also play an April Fools Day joke. Yesterday PerezHilton.com reported that Sarah Jessica Parker had died in a car accident.



I'm all for April Fools Day pranks or jokes but killing people off is crossing the line, right?

Robert Pattinson Said Preparing Special Easter Gift for Kristen Stewart!

Having spent some time apart from Kristen Stewart for a while now, Robert Pattinson reportedly has prepared a special gift for his rumored girlfriend. According to Showbiz Spy, the 23-year-old actor will make use this Easter weekend to present his "Twilight Saga" co-star with his surprise.

"Rob and Kristen have been so busy these past few weeks," an insider told the publication. "They hate that they've hardly seen each other. They've been keeping in contact via text and email and have decided to get together over Easter. Rob said he has an extra special surprise lined up for Kristen! He can't wait to see her."

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been apart over the past few weeks due to their hectic schedules. Robert has been busy filming "Bel Ami", while Kristen traveled around the world to promote "The Runaways". Recent reports claimed that their time apart has caused problem in their alleged romance.

Famous magazine earlier reported that Kristen doesn't know exactly what is wrong with her relationship with Robert but feels the actor is drifting away. A source added, "While filming Twilight in Vancouver, Rob and Kristen got used to seeing each other all day, every day. Whereas now they are on different continents - and it's really testing their relationship."
